Then I am happy you are here! I love working with clients who are new to the therapeutic process and getting to be a part of your process of diving deeper into your authentic self. I will provide guidance and psychoeducation on the process and we can dive in together!

Therapy is most effective when consistent and the number one predictor of the effectiveness of therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. I encourage everyone to start with meeting weekly and then we can talk about what feels best moving forward. This helps us build rapport and rhythm to support our work together.

Sessions are 45-50 minutes long

I am an out-of-network provider meaning that I am not in-network with any insurance companies at this time.
Insurance companies often only allow a specific number of therapy sessions you can attend and only allow for you to see specific therapists. This limits the work we can do together. I think therapy should go at your own pace, without any stipulations. Insurance companies have also declined claims after sessions have been held, leaving you with a large bill. I don’t want anything to get in your way of healing. That is why I am an out-of-network provider; to provide transparency for both you and me.
I encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to obtain information regarding your out-of-network benefits, reimbursement rates, telehealth coverage, and deductible. Many clients are pleasantly surprised to hear that their insurance company reimburses a significant amount for therapy sessions with out-of-network providers.
I am able to offer a superbill (receipt of services with codes needed) to submit to insurance for out of network reimbursement. Your eligibility or amount of reimbursement from insurance will depend on your individual plan and OON deductible. Please note, it is common for insurance companies to require a diagnosis in order to be eligible for reimbursement. We can discuss this more in our session or consult call.
Here are some questions to ask when you call your insurance provider:
Do I have out-of-network coverage for psychotherapy? They might ask you the medical billing code, which is 90834 for a 45-minute individual therapy session
Is a prior authorization needed?
Is there a deductible? If so, how much of my deductible has already been met?
Am I limited on how many times I can see my therapist within the year?
How much will I be reimbursed for?
What is the process for submitting for reimbursement? What paperwork needs to be completed and where do I send this to?

The cost of session is $165 per 50 min session. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots in my caseload to accommodate those in need. I accept all major credit cards as well as HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service and intake paperwork and a card on file are required 24 hours prior to the first session.

I try to vary my hours to be able to offer evening sessions and accommodate a variety of clients’ schedules. Please note that due to evening availability being limited, I do try to reserve those spots (5pm-8pm) for individuals who are unable to meet during the day due to their job and not working from home or do not have flexibility in their hours (such as a teacher).
